This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be processed when using the OnMedVet platform, including registration, authentication, appointment scheduling and veterinary care workflows.

Depending on the activity performed, OnMedVet, the veterinary professional and the organization responsible for the care may have different responsibilities regarding the processing of personal data.

We may process identification and contact information such as name, email address, telephone number and CPF when provided; information about registered animals; information submitted for appointments and veterinary care; and technical data related to security and use of the platform, such as IP address, browser information and authentication records.

3. How we use data

Data may be used to identify and authenticate users, retrieve existing registrations, enable appointment scheduling, provide communications related to veterinary care, operate and protect the platform, prevent abuse, provide support and comply with applicable obligations.

4. Animal-related information

OnMedVet allows information about animals to be registered in order to organize veterinary appointments and care. This information may be made available to the professional or organization responsible for the veterinary service.

5. Data sharing

Information may be made available to the professional or organization responsible for the veterinary service and to infrastructure and technology providers required to operate the platform.

Information may also be provided when necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or a valid request from a competent authority.

6. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure or improper destruction.

No internet-connected system is completely immune to risk, so security measures are reviewed as the platform evolves.

Data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes related to providing and operating the services and, where applicable, for the period required to comply with obligations or exercise legal rights.

OnMedVet may send transactional messages required for operation of the platform, such as authentication codes and communications related to appointments.

Access codes are sent after a request made directly by the user through the platform.
